Hosting und Server Logfiles
Hosting
Our website is hosted by united-domains GmbH, Gautinger Straße 10, 82319 Starnberg, Germany.
As part of providing its hosting services, united-domains processes personal data on our behalf. This processing is carried out on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
According to united-domains, the servers used for web hosting are operated in Germany.
Server Logfiles
When you access our website, the web server processes technically necessary access data. This may include, in particular, the IP address of the accessing device, the date and time of access, the file or page accessed, the amount of data transferred, and information about the browser and operating system used.
This processing is carried out to ensure the secure and uninterrupted provision of the website, to analyse technical errors, and to protect our systems against misuse and attacks.
The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in providing a secure, stable, and technically functional website.
Server log data is processed only for as long as necessary to ensure secure operation, analyse errors, and prevent misuse. Data is stored for a longer period only where required by law or where necessary to investigate a specific security incident.

If you contact us by email, telephone, or via a contact form provided on our website, we process the personal data you provide in order to handle your enquiry.
This may include, in particular, your name, email address, telephone number, and the content of your message.
If your enquiry relates to an existing contract or is made in connection with pre contractual measures, the processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
For other enquiries, the processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in processing and responding to enquiries addressed to us.
The data collected when you contact us will be deleted once your enquiry has been fully resolved and there are no statutory retention obligations or other legal grounds requiring further storage.

Job Applications
Information about the processing of personal data in connection with job applications.
If you apply for a position at CS Bewässerungssysteme GmbH, we process the personal data you provide solely for the purpose of conducting the application process and deciding whether to establish an employment relationship.
This may include, in particular, your name and contact details, CV, information about your qualifications and professional experience, certificates, references, and any other information you provide.
The legal basis for this processing is Section 26(1) of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Application data is stored only for as long as necessary to conduct and complete the application process and to safeguard legitimate legal interests. Statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.
Any further storage, for example to consider you for future job vacancies, will take place only where there is an appropriate legal basis for doing so, in particular your consent.

Technically Necessary Functions
Based on the current technical configuration of our website, we do not use analytics or marketing technologies such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, or Meta Pixel.
Fonts are hosted locally on our own website and are not loaded from external font providers when you visit the website.
Where information is stored on or accessed from your device and this is strictly necessary to provide a function you have expressly requested, this is carried out on the basis of Section 25(2) No. 2 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG).
We currently do not use any analytics or marketing cookies that are not technically necessary.

Language Versions of the Website
Our website is available in German and English. We use TranslatePress to manage the different language versions.
The existing translations are stored in our website’s WordPress database and are provided when the respective language version is accessed.
Users select their preferred language using the website’s language switcher. Based on our current configuration, the language is not selected automatically based on the user’s location or IP address.

Links to Google Maps
Our website provides links to Google Maps, for example for route planning.
Google Maps is not directly embedded in our website. Therefore, simply visiting our website does not establish a connection to Google Maps through these links.
Only when you click on the relevant link will you leave our website and be redirected to Google Maps. From that point onwards, Google may process personal data, such as your IP address or, where applicable, location data.

Under the GDPR, you have various rights in relation to your personal data.
Access and Rectification
Under Art. 15 GDPR, you have the right to obtain information about the personal data we process about you.
Under Art. 16 GDPR, you have the right to have inaccurate personal data corrected or incomplete personal data completed.
Erasure and Restriction
In accordance with Art. 17 GDPR, you have the right to have your personal data erased.
In accordance with Art. 18 GDPR, you have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data.
Data Portability and Right to Lodge a Complaint
Under Art. 77 GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
Subject to the requirements of Art. 20 GDPR, you have the right to data portability.
Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future in accordance with Art. 7(3) GDPR. The lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the withdrawal of consent remains unaffected.
