The CS Soaker Hose Profi is designed for larger gardens, lawns, planting rows and professional irrigation projects. Its porous hose wall releases water along the installed length. With straight installation, up to 100 meters per irrigation run are possible.

The CS Soaker Hose Profi enables water delivery close to the soil surface or underground along the planned irrigation run. With suitable installation, the water reaches the soil around the plant roots. Its distribution depends on soil type, pressure, hose layout and available water flow.

Planning and Operation
Plan Area Irrigation in Four Steps
For long irrigation runs, not only water pressure but also the available water flow at the respective connection is important.

Check the Water Source
Determine water pressure and available flow rate. Also consider the number of irrigation runs operating simultaneously.

Plan Filtration and Pressure Regulation
Include a suitable water filter and, where supply pressure is higher, an appropriate pressure reducer. For Profi, CS specifies 0,6 to 0,7 bar as the optimal range.

Divide the Irrigation Runs
Dimension straight runs, supply lines and distributors appropriately. Avoid kinks, steep inclines and unnecessarily long supply lines.

Test Before Covering
Seal open hose ends with end plugs, check connections for leaks and inspect water delivery along the installed hose.

Straight Irrigation Runs
Up to 100 m
With an installation that is as straight as possible, up to 100 meters of Soaker Hose per irrigation run are permitted. For lawns, multiple parallel runs are often planned and supplied through supply lines.
The water supply must be matched to the requirements of the entire system.
Only for Short Runs
Winding and Circular Installation
Up to 15 m
These installation methods are not preferred because of the additional flow resistance. According to the CS application guidelines, they are nevertheless possible for short irrigation runs up to 15 meters. Longer runs should be divided differently.
The open end of the hose is sealed with an end plug.
Distinguish Between Supplied Length and Installation Length
A 100-meter roll can form one irrigation run when installed in a straight line. However, if the area is irrigated using several short or curved runs, the total hose length must be divided appropriately, and each run must receive an adequate water supply.

Can I Connect 100 Meters of CS Soaker Hose Profi to a Single Connection?
For straight installation, up to 100 meters per irrigation run are permitted. This requires an adequately sized water supply. Whether the full length can be operated effectively must be assessed based on actual pressure and flow conditions.
Can I Install the Profi Hose in a Winding Pattern?
CS generally recommends shorter runs for this installation method. According to the application guidelines, it is possible for runs up to 15 meters. For larger areas, straight runs supplied separately are usually more suitable.
Is a Pressure Reducer Required?
